This month, Drake's 'Take Care' turned 5.
One of the album's best songs is "Look What You've Done" - a sonic letter to his mom and uncle, recurring characters in his work.
The track samples an old acoustic video of Static Major, who tragically passed away in 2008. You may recall Static Major from a certain Lil Wayne hit, and from the 90's as a member of the R&B group Playa.
"Look What You've Done" is one of 'Take Care''s most soulful tracks, and much of that soul derives from the sample. Enjoy:
